This Balanced Pressure valve for your home shower will act as your defense toward scald risks. This single control valve (for one handled systems as opposed to two or three) continuously monitors the temperature of the hot and cold water at the inlet location. If the cold-water pressure decreases, the valve senses this and quickly reduces the hot water pressure. When the pressure changes on the hot or cold side, the valve instantly reacts to produce an even temperature. All balanced pressure valves have a maximum output of 5gpm.
